Canada’s Parlay Entertainment has teamed with digital gaming group Entraction to launch a European-facing online bingo network.
The Malta-based network will be powered by Parlay’s front-end bingo product and Entraction’s back-end administration system.
It is expected to launch at the end of May 2009, and will be managed by Entraction.
Parlay chief executive Scott White said: “’By combining the strengths of Parlay’s bingo games with Entraction’s expanding footprint in European gaming, we anticipate the creation of a bingo network solution which will see the launch of multiple brands in the coming months.’’
Parlay senior vice president Peter Trinz expressed that online bingo was showing clear signs of being more than merely resistant to the recession. Trinz said: “In spite of the world’s economy, or maybe because of it, the bingo market seems to be expanding hand over fist. We’ve never seen so much activity”.
Entraction chief executive Peter Åström added: “With Parlay’s launch of their new multi-lingual, multi-currency bingo platform, Entraction will now be able to focus on the growth of bingo as a core business offering which we expect will complement our European gaming network.’”
